Andrew Mihal is a third year studying MA Economics and Philosophy. He was the Senior Student last year, leading the hall to the highest committee satisfaction in St Andrews. He is also social media representative for the St Andrews Typhoons and social representative for Breakaway.
Fun Fact: Andrew knows how to weld and drive a forklift.
Sienna Kucherhan is a second-year student in MA English & International Relations. Alongside her duties as McIntosh Hall’s Deputy Senior Student, she is a St Andrews student ambassador and member of the St Andrews TEDx team. When she’s not chatting to literally everyone she meets, you can find her walking about town with friends or spending time in St Mary's Quad.
Fun fact: Sienna has passed out on top of the release hatch of a Globetrotter airplane in the middle of evasive manoeuvre tactics...and would 10/10 do it again.
Takaaki Iwai is a final-year student for MA (Honours) Mathematics and Russian. He is originally Japanese, but has lived in Japan, Russia, Switzerland and Scotland. He is one of the longest residents of McIntosh Hall, living here since his first year.
As well as Secretary of McIntosh Hall Committee, he is also the Council Member of St Andrews Curling Club, the Treasurer of New Global Normal, the Associate Trainer of sparqs (student partnership in quality Scotland) and the Quality Assurance Student Expert in the European Students' Union, representing the United Kingdom. He is passionate about theoretical statistics, art history and classical music.

Lyra Burgess is a second year Environmental Earth Sciences student. She is also the Live Events Coordinator for Rock and Metal Society! In her spare time, Lyra enjoys hiking, studying mycology, beachcombing, and playing her bass guitar - she just started kendo as well!
Shantiv is a 2nd year student studying Biology and Sustainable Development, and he plans to attend veterinary school after undergraduate study. Shantiv enjoys making ceramics, singing acapella, and playing tennis. Loves reading, Taylor Swift, and Molly Malone’s.
Amy is a 1st year studying biology and math and is this year’s catering rep! You’ll find her on the field playing Ultimate Frisbee or on the coastal path looking for cows.
Octavia is first year studying Chemistry and Maths. She enjoys beach runs, Starbuck's Frappuccino's and supporting her peers. She's very excited to be working with McIntosh this year!

I am a first-year student studying Internatioinal Relations and Classics. I am a member of the Wine Society, HerCampus, the dog walking club, and Women for Women International, and I am part of the St. Andrews skiing and sailing clubs.

Amelie Bazile is a first year student studying Philosophy and International Relations. She is a violinist who enjoys researching and writing about musicology, art history, philosophy, and poetry. She also likes to hike, paint, read, and bake.

Daniele Naujokas is 1st year IR and Sustainable Development student. She is a professional artist and competitive ballroom dancer who’s excited to be Social Representative for McIntosh Hall, especially as honorary whiteboard designer. She is a fresher rep for Craft House and FS26.

I am a first-year student studying a joint honours in International Relations & Economics from South Africa. I want to take my education back to South Africa with me to help repair our broken political system that keeps the citizens of the rainbow nation economically oppressed. I love dogs, politics and sports of all kinds. I am Liverpool’s biggest fan out there, YNWA!
Kyle McFarlane is a 1st-year student from Prestwick, Scotland studying MA German & Spanish. He is currently the Charities officer in Mcintosh Hall and hopes to bring his personal experiences involving charity work to hall life. He’s passionate about languages and culture. He was language and reading ambassador captain at his secondary school and outside of studying he loves travelling, karaoke, hiking, music, cats and getting involved.
Fun fact: if you befriend him enough, he might let you use his colleague discount card at Tesco. (Alcohol included!!! 🤫)
Alisa Senses is a 3rd year student studying pure maths and physics. She can often be found organising a variety of (competitive and rather elaborate!) events for the maths society. As the libraries and tech representative, she is eager to catalogue books, raise the awareness of the wonderful resources at the McIntosh library and ensure all printers/computers are working.
Hobbies: Piano/violin, watercolour... some more maths.
